About UUIDs
A version 4 UUID is a 128-bit identifier made of random bits, written as 36 characters such as 3f1c2a9e-4b7d-4e2a-9c1f-8a6b5d4e3c2b. The chance of two colliding is negligible, so they can be generated anywhere without coordination. This tool uses the browser's crypto.randomUUID().
